welcome

Hi there! I am so glad you are here. Whether you are just beginning to plan your wedding, or your big day is just around the corner, having an extra support person in your corner is always a great idea. Your wedding day is a beautiful symbol of your love and commitment to your spouse… but that doesn’t mean the wedding planning process is always so rosy and beautiful. Planning a wedding can be stressful at times, and for some brides, they don’t even know where to begin. I am here to help you at whatever level of assistance you might need! From picking a wedding date and a venue, and setting a budget, all the way to the big day - structuring the timeline and overseeing + managing your big day. All you need to do is show up and get married! Let me worry about the rest.

What to expect

When you first reach out to me, we will set up a time to chat virtually. We will have a free consultation to get to know each other and assess if I’m the right fit for you! Never a sales pitch from me, no guilt at all if you feel we are not a good match! (Just like finding a good hubby is hard work, so is finding the right wedding vendors!) We will talk about you and your partner, what you each envision for your wedding, and what you may have planned so far, and what areas you are hoping to have assistance with.

after our consultation, if you feel like i am the right planner for you, we move onto the securing your wedding date!

The Process

Phase 1 - the general planning
Here we will discuss the big picture of your wedding. The who, what, where, when of it all. Picking a date, choosing an aesthetic and color scheme, and securing primary vendors will fall into this category. General Planning occurs from the start of your engagement (or earlier) until approximately 10 months before the wedding.

Phase 2 - the design phase
Once you have the basics nailed down, we can begin to have a little more fun! Here we can search Pinterest for the perfectly personalized boutineers, centerpieces and other fun elements. This is where we have most creative freedom and can pick and choose what’s right for YOUR wedding! The Design Phase occurs from approximately 12 months prior to 4 months prior to your wedding.

Phase 3 - the logistics phase
Definitely not as flashy or fun as the design phase, the logistical phase is the most important! This is where you decide seating charts, timelines, packing lists, carpools, and deciding how your gifts are getting back home. These details may be boring or complicated at times, but they are what will make your wedding stress free and go off without a hitch! This Logistics Phase begins around 5 months beforehand and should be completed around 2-3 weeks before your wedding.

No stress allowed!

As your Wedding Planner, consider me your schedule keeper, your to-list manager, your vendor payment reminder, your bonus bridesmaid (Yaaaassss, I want to come dress shopping or cake tasting with you if you need an extra unbiased opinion!) your meme-sharing hype girl, your reassuring voice (“It’s okay! It IS hard! Take a day off and go for a walk. We can work on this again a different day.”) and your confidential ears for venting.

You’re not gonna hear from me that you need to have the biggest, best, most expensive everything to have your best day. I am here to help you plan a wedding that reflects you and your fiancé, and to help you have FUN while you plan. This should be low stress. This should be something you enjoy! I want you to enjoy being engaged! Let me know if you need help with that.

Planning a wedding can be stressful for many reasons - lots of details to consider and plan, but also due to feeling overwhelmed due to family + friends issues, finances, or emotions about a big life change. I firmly believe that your mental health is the MOST important aspect - just as important as the love you have for your hubby, you also deserve to love yourself and love your engagement season. If you are feeling burnt out, I will offer you tips on how to keep your self-care game on point, and how to set boundaries with your partner, your wedding party, and your family to ensure you are staying as stress free as possible.
